Description
Fireman Suit, Structural Fire Fighting Turnout Gear with Four Layer Protection and Reflective Tape
Built for the demands of structural fire fighting and emergency response, this two piece turnout suit protects against heat, flame, water and rough handling. Each layer has a job, so the suit stays protective without becoming unmanageable to wear.
The outer shell is a woven aramid blend with an antistatic fibre and an oil and water repellent finish. Under it sits a flame resistant moisture barrier that keeps water out while letting vapour escape, and a needle punched thermal barrier that slows heat transfer. Against the body, the inner lining is a soft, sweat absorbing aramid fabric that adds comfort and flame protection.
The jacket has a stand collar, a covered front closure, large flap pockets and adjustable cuffs with hook and loop straps. The trousers have cargo pockets and padded knees. Padded elbows and knees take the wear where firefighters kneel, crawl and reach, and bands of high visibility reflective tape make the wearer easy to see in smoke and low light.
