Behind it, a multi-layer aramid heat barrier slows heat transfer. An anti-static inner layer sits against the body. Every part of the set, including the hood, gloves and boot covers, uses the same layered construction, so protection stays consistent from head to toe.

The jacket has an expanded back, so it fits comfortably over a self-contained breathing apparatus. The hood detaches from the jacket and has a wide panoramic visor, with extra length that covers the neck, chest and shoulders. The whole set packs into its own carry bag for storage and transport.
